Ones that are planted in the ground are mostly a strain of Sativa from Daintree I got off a friend with a couple of Big Bomb and Afghan Kush thrown in to replace the ones lost to Ants. Soil is an old chicken coup with blood and bone, Potash, gypsum and compost mixed through. The white on top is some leftover gypsum I had. Feeding with red powerfeed and a dose of Epsom salts once a month. Going to use the purple powerfeed for flowering. They're 3 weeks old and had problems with ants at the start so bit behind. I plan on tipping the Sativas once but don't expect them to get too big as they were planted late.
The two in the pots are Afghan Kush with coco and perlite 30/70 at the bottom 50/50 then 70/30 at the top. Using Xtreme nutrients A and B growth formula but am switching to Manutec Hydroponics nutrient shortly with trace elements. They are only a week and a half old. PH ~6. I have set up an autopot set up. First time hydroponics and am amazed how healthy they look.

Plan on updating once a week. View attachment 20180311_142815.jpgView attachment 20180311_142824.jpgView attachment 20180311_142829.jpgView attachment 20180311_142857.jpgView attachment 20180311_142852.jpg

Everything coming along nicely. Seems they are all starting to take off even the stragglers. Will update photos on Thursday when on days off.

So Monday was 4 weeks since the first seed got sown. Some seem to be a lot bigger than others but all seem to be finding themselves and starting to take well. The 4 smallest ones are younger by a week and a half with one even younger. Seem to have got the pests under control but will probably hit them with neem oil in a week or so to be on the safe side. Down to watering every second day and they appear to like that. Red powerfeed tomorrow and doing that once a week. They're regulars so no doubt there will be a couple of males in there.
The ones in the hydro are blowing me away. A week and younger but absolutely thriving. A have a feeling that the taller one is gonna end up a male but time will tell. The other two little ones were "the just in case" ones and will be going to a friend.

Yep, that happens. Happened to 60% of my most recent hopefuls...

Had a think about it and gonna move it and gather some pollen before I rip it. Will cross it with the Sativa as well as the other Afghan Kush. Might as well.

Got it so quick update. One day short of 7 weeks with some a few weeks behind. Some going better than others but all healthy. Been shitty overcast weather. The ones that got a head start seem to be way ahead. Not watering much and Red Powerfeed once per week and gave them some Seasol a week ago.
Pretty sure the first skinny ********** is gonna be male. The second one is an Afghan the same as the hydro and has started to flower even though it's tiny. Never expected too much out of this grow as it was planted late but it's a learning experience. I think I will go with 8 total next season as they're sure to fill the space. Lookin good, green mojo for sure your way! Can't wait to see these girls in a few months

Haven't updated for awhile so here's a few pics. The hydro Afghan Kush in coco is looking nice and smelling very fruity. Trained it a fair bit so the light gets in. Nice little flowers coming along.
My first crack at fimming only ever tipped them before but it appears to work well. Little girl that budded far too early and a pic of my little sea of green lol. All looking the goods and most showing their sex yay.
The three new additions. Northern Lights auto seeds. All three popped and are in their new big people's home. I hope 30L pots are big enough lolView attachment 20180416_101440.jpgView attachment 20180416_101657.jpgView attachment 20180416_101537.jpgView attachment 20180416_101554.jpgView attachment 20180416_101501.jpgView attachment 20180416_101619.jpgView attachment 20180416_101628.jpgView attachment 20180416_101636.jpgView attachment 20180416_101642.jpg
