Hello once again all,

I've been growing in soil for coming up on 9yrs with some great success with much credit to the wealth of knowledge MP has offered over the years. I guess more so do to curiosity than anything I have switched over to a hydroponic setup. I am currently running a perpetual harvest consisting of 2x4x6 veg cab. The top shelf has 2 23w cool cfl's, warming pad and cloning dome using rapid rooters. The bottom half contains a Mars Hydro 300w led and a small 5 gallon res. that I use with 2" net pot with hydroton to veg. I usually keep no more than 8 clones in veg at a time. From there I have been using 2 8 site flood tables(which I may reduce down do to overcrowding) with 5" netty's also with hydroton. I have also added a 20gal dwc setup using 5" netty's and hydroton as well. The DWC has been running for less than 2 weeks flower with roots nearly larger and more dense than my 5 week flowering ladies in "table 2" which clearly lets me know something is wrong . . . Just some random pics mostly of the very beginning stages.

With the 1st set of girls I used rockwool as you can see from the pics above but found it to be expensive for where I'm located at least and seems to hold a lot of salt as well. The salt build up could also be the nutes but I dont see any similarities using the hydroton and same nutrients.I started with what I feel is about as simple feed program there is the Lucas Formula and tweaked it slightly with just a few additives. Using GH florabloom and floramicro as my base. Starins consist of Bluecheese, Chronic x N.L., and Cherry Bomb. The 2 ebb n flow tables each are under a 400w HPS and the newly added DWC is under a 400w MH.

Thanks THG and G13. I have seen a tremendous difference between the ebb n flow vs DWC. I notice a many people say adding a water pump creates heat but if I can maintain the res. temp around 65 to 68 would the added circulation not be beneficial to the nutrient solution?
