Gnats are swarrming around the zone, any solutions?
 
gnatrol from b&g works great. if you can find something with the same bacteria in it, that would work too most likely.

I use fly strips and may I suggest you put an inch of sand on top your soil to make a barrier to soil.

Apply a one inch deep layer of 'clean' playground sand, perlite, or (best of ALL) Diatomaceous Earth and allow your medium to "dry out"!
Fungus gnats are "usually" a by-product/result of over watering.
 
yeah gnats are nasty. i had them in my room oce, i walked in and they were landing on me. i went to water and never looked back. i used some basic pesticide in the soil, and yellow fly strips. they worked great. also, let your soil dry out some between waterings. they like moisture! Loola
