Gardeners,

'Growing plants' sounds simple enough.
A whole philosophical 'can of worms' it is in reality.
It isn't easy.

Growing plants?
Plants grow automatically, all they want to do is grow.
Being a man however, makes thinking like a plant difficult.
We're real different.

I plant them in potting soil that laid out in the garage for 15 years in old pots I found trashing.
Water them too much, starve them of light and give them lawn fertilizer.

Poor things, they just want to grow, to grow and live.
This is what I wanted too but after a lifetime of trying to make plants grow where and how I want them to,
I have stumbled on a common ground between the plants and myself.
I can hear them now and we are all happy. They are where they want to be.
This is their home and mine.

I learned proper P/H is critical to plants. That minerals don't evaporate and can't be expected to be in rain water!
That topping plants makes them floppy stem-ed and unable to stand without crutches.
That one feeds the soil and not the plants.

So the sun is out today
'in more ways than one'.

God is great Sabu...

I’ve also learned that plants are on their own timetable and no matter how often I wanna check them each day, sadly they remain on their own schedule....

Love your thought Poet. we are more managers than growers aren't we.

'Managers' is more accurate.

Thank you...
