That happens to me using the TOR browser all the time.
There's a thread somewhere where Hackerman describes the problem and solutions. I'm hoping Rose's checkbox solution works for you cause it's too deep in to bits & bytes for me, I kludge my fix using notepad.
(I write my nonsense on notepad and cut & paste now, I babble on so long, it's infuriating to have to re-type it all)

chevey if that still doesn't work you can try a proxy, if that isn't worken either try private internet access,
it's a few bucks a month but worth having, plus monthly, i've had a few vpns and pia is just solid, at least openvpn on linux from them is, no disconnects etc nice to have some "privacy" from the isp
