Switching your light timer to 24/0 or 18/6 will flip them back to the "grow", unless it's an autoflowering varietal.
 
If you are in the Northern Hemisphere and you have plants outdoors at this time of year and they are old enough they are going to flower as the days are awfully close to 12/12. So, I don't know that I would say that they are flowering prematurely--they are responding to the light they are being given.

I don't really know of anything that will halt blooming but more hours of light.
