I have a question about organic growing. I was looking at a list of foods and things that can be used as organic nutrients, but there is something that I don't understand. When they say (ash) next to, say, potato peels, does that mean you have to burn the potato peels and then use the ash to feed your plant? And if that's so, do you add it to water, or just sprinkle it on top? I'm trying to go organic and I would like to find some natural ways to feed my plants. Any advise would be appreciated.

i'm really not sure, i have never actually used ash, but I think most people that do use wood ash.
You may be safer making teas of guano, seaweed and worm castings and buying a pre-made organic nute, like morther earths tea, or iguana from advanced nutrients, or pure blend pro, as I think they have an all organic line
