Just thought I would throw this one on the coffee table. Is it good to top the plants? If so what good will it do ; what bad? When should it be done? Just where on the plant should the cut be made? I know there are five questions here but this is the coffee table, get out the coffee, and mabye a bud and go for it!

here is a diagram

i usually top when there is 3 nodes...

topping can give you 2-4 colas
fimming can give you 4-6 colas

Yes if you want multiple bud/colas sites.

When should it be done?

People do it at many different times, but I always do mine during the veg time.

Just where on the plant should the cut be made?

I cut mine just above the nodes.
