You guys are great, it is not me it is a very close family member and he is doing very well through this time and hopefully will come out of this well. The doctors have been amazed at his will to live... I have a hard time asking for help so I deleted it and the family member wishes to keep...

I wish I had an answer since every child and parent and situation is different. Everytime I had to ponder situations such as yours, I asked alot of questions, no matter what the answers were, and collectively analyzed the answers and dug deep within myself and concluded what I felt was the best...
