    auto outdoor grow

Hey haven't posted in a long time but work has settled down and allowed me to get back to my passion of growing my own. Done a couple of small indoor grows with pretty good results, the last time being with some Auto AK47 from Lowlife (i think..). Anyways indoors is no longer an option but...

    fan leaf pruning

I believe the fan leaves should stay for the most part...they are responsible for the majority of the photosynthesis that makes the plant grow...IMO removing them will be detrimental to the final product. I only remove leaves that are over half dead, or yellowed or whatever.

    auto seed ?????????

Pretty much just a potent strain crossed with ditchweed.... I have some auto AK on the go and they look and smell terrific so far. I have heard of problems with these strains though, such as poor germ rates and vigor, as well as not necessarily being "auto". I had 100% germ rate though...

    ? about misting...

One thing to watch for is how wet your soil stays, I used to mist throughout veg on my last grow, and developed a bit of a fungus gnat problem as the top of my soil was always damp...I haven't misted anything this go around and appear to have a much healthier garden.

    Hempstar?

Hey I recently scored some Hempstar seeds from a friend the Kootney's (BC) where it does excellent outdoors...anyone have much luck growing this strain indoors? (i'm pretty far north, outdoors ain't an option) I imagine it will be fine like any other indica but if anyone has experience with...

    Auto Flowering Sativa?

Yeah i got 3 auto Ak 47 on the go now and they are doing great, I had 100% germination but I'm just hoping for at least 1 female. They seem pretty hearty and aren't too sensitive to what I'm feeding them either.

Taking a clone just before flowering?

Thanks hamster, I'll give it a go, I'm only taking a couple just to hold onto the genetics...should I wait a few days after cutting to switch the lights, or can I basically clone a day or two before I start the cycle?

Taking a clone just before flowering?

Yeah I've taken clones before with relatively good success, I'm just paranoid about the hermie thing. Rooting time of the clone also isn't a big issue, as I have a seperate area for them and am in no rush. Thanks fo the advice though..

Taking a clone just before flowering?

Hey everybody.. So I know it's never a good idea to clone from a female just going into flowering, but i have a beautiful feminised Green Spirit almost ready to go into flowering and I was gonna take just one cutting to start a mother. (I'd use the original but i kinda wanna taste it...)...

    Auto AK47

Hey, I am starting my second indoor grow, (gotta wait for the yearly winter layoff) and have ordered some Autoflowering AK47 seeds. Does anyone have any experience with this strain? I've heard it is a good producer for an auto, but that was only what the seedbank description says. I also have...

Big Buddha cheese 2 weeks flower

Here's an update to the last set of pics I posted, of my lone cheese female. 2 weeks in and looking good, I think the light may be sufficient. There are lots of flowers on her, I think she will yield ok, especially for a first time grow.

    fungus gnat spray in flowering

I have a little bit of a fungus gnat infestation in my one big plant, which is almost two weeks into flowering. This rests on a table with two recently transplanted clones underneath. Although it is lightproof when the big plant is flowering, the little bastards can still move back and forth...
