Are you living in Greenland or Antarctica? I live in Southern California. The frost out here is around December 1 - March 15. We have a 9 month frost free growing season. And if you build a greenhouse, you may be able to grow all year long.
I found out through experience, that it takes about 2-2 and half months to cure in the jar for peak ripeness. After 6 months, the THC value begins to degrade and after a year it's practically schwag.
Dogs like pot too. One time, we had a dog that ate an entire ounce of pot through a friend's coat pocket (while the friend was asleep from smoking out lol).
An occasional light rain never hurt my plants. One year it hailed in late May out here (very rare). My plants got pelted, but i braced them back up and they recovered in the warm Cali sun. I almost lost my entire crop that year. That was back when i was a co-op grower. Today, I grow for personal.

Now that your initial drying is over you need to distribute the remaining moisture evenly through the bud because right now its all in the middle. You also might want to remove some more of that moisture and maybe some chlorophyll with it.
