    Super Skunk with Fluorescents

*Update* Tonight is their first night on 12/12. The lights shut off at 7 pm, and on at 7 am. They're 6" or so, and I've got maybe 30 odd inches of space from the top of the pots to the highest position the light can be in. I'm definitely looking forward to that HPS. The flowering time for Super...

    I need help

For vegetative growth, 20-20-20 is a good fertilizer. For flowering, you'll need something like 10-52-20. Generally for flowering you need a low first number, high middle number, and low to moderate third number.

    feminised seed??

One thing you should know about feminized seeds, is that they aren't guaranteed females. There are other factors to take into consideration, like stress, temperature, and light to name a few. Also, when the company says it's 99% certain to turn into female, look at the fine print. Most good seed...

    Drying Marijuana Outdoors?

As for the drying box, I have no idea how you would go about it. However, I've heard one way you can dry plants without hanging them up is to take all the buds off, and put them either on a screen, or in paper bags. With the screen, you could dry indoors, and invest maybe 10 or 15 bucks on an...

    Drying Marijuana Outdoors?

Obviously you'd have to do it on days that it's not going to rain. I don't know for sure how well it would work, but one thing I do know is that if you dry pot in the sun, it will lower the potency. So, if you so it, you'll want to do it in the shade.

    Question about hydrogen peroxide

Ok, I've heard that one of the benifits of adding hydrogen peroxide to your water/nute solution is that it makes the nutes more available to the roots. But, does the extra amount of oxygen by itself create better and faster growth?

Ok, I have some new pics. These were taken today, which is 10 days into vegetative growth.

    Allgrownup - Northern LightsXShiva Journal

No, in fact, before I read this question, I was just about to compliment you on how short and bushy they were. Remember, bushy is better. If a plant is short and bushy, the internodes are not spaced very far apart, which means your yield is bigger. If you can grow these the same way all the way...

I'm planning a homemade hydro setup. I have some questions.

    - I'm using a water culture design, and my container is 21" x 16". Will one air stone in the centre be enough to properly airate all of the plants, (6) or should I buy an air pump that has two air hose outlets? - My container is about 6 or 7 inches deep. Will this be enough to support the root...

    Stupid Question

No, you were right the first time. A lot of people say that you should put the tap root up. The reason for this is that when the tap root starts to grow, it has to wrap around the seed before it can start making its way south. I'm not exactly sure why, but when it's forced to do this, you will...

    Super Skunk with Fluorescents

Lol, I grew some of this before, and they reaked like fresh-burnt smoke when they were about 1 month into vegetative. This grow seems to smell pretty neutral so far. I'm going to go and get an "ONA" block, from a hydroponic supply site. (It's an odour eliminator.)

    Super Skunk with Fluorescents

This is my Super Skunk grow with two 13W and one 25W fluorescent. In about a week I'm getting one 150W HPS bulb, which will be lots for the small space I'm growing in. Here are some pictures, taken at 6 days old. They are a fair bit bigger now, and I'll post up new pictures when I take some.

Starting a new grow... I have a few questions.

Ok, first off, I'm not growing hydroponically, but I was thinking of planting in straight vermiculite, as opposed to potting soil. Does anybody know if this will cause any problems? Also, when it comes time to transplant, will I have trouble because of the medium not sticking to the root ball...
