T12's help or not worth my time?

    Thanks Hamster! Appricaite that article it did help. Upon further research it appears that T5 isn't just T5 there's T5HO (high output) so I think that's what they're comparing T8 and T12 to. T12 40 watt ~ 2300 T8 34 watt ~ 2900 (Lowes had 2800lumens) T5 28 watt ~ 2900 T5HO 54watt ~ 5000+...

    Plastic vs Glass

I've seen some larger ones, how tall are the ones you have now? I'd be interested in getting one or two for this test also. Tried looking up the specifications and couldn't find any. The OXO I use for example for large colas is 5.5 quarts (almost 1.5 gallon) and over 1 foot tall. They about the...

T12's help or not worth my time?

It's about 5'x2' closet for the mother/clones. My issue with the HPS/MH (that I use in my flowering tent) is the heat. Which size HPS would I find that puts out less heat than CFLs? I can literally touch the CFL bulbs, but I saw what my 400w HPS with a cool tube did to my bud when it touched...

    Plastic vs Glass

I could be completely wrong (which is why I created the thread for discussion lol) but the plastic sandwich baggies build static electricity like nobody's buisness, and usually people who use them, roll up the weed, unroll it to check it out, roll it up again, unroll take a nug out, roll it back...

T12's help or not worth my time?

I have a T12 light setup for 2 4 foot bulbs, would it be worth my time, energy and money to set this up with my other CFL's for veg? Right now I could have them both going with my seedlings until I start the trimming for clones, but if it's not worth my money to run the 80 watts along with the...

    Plastic vs Glass

I think I'll grab a few jars and try out both methods and experement. Doesn't seem like one way or the other will cause a huge difference.

Leprechaun Seeds Presents : Growing Gold

Sounds good, mine are still very short, but I've not had to transplant seedlings like this. Usually I just get clones, so kind of new to the bean growing part. I think I read that the root system was bigger for seedlings than clones. I don't want to get all bound up in there.

How tall do you let your babies get in the cups? Also how tall were they when you topped and cloned those?

    Kanibus' Random Strain Journal

TY sir! I am going to be trying to do the same thing it looks like you are on your journal (which I've checked out :) ). Cut some off the little ones, sex them and remove the males. Maybe you can give me some pointers.

Love the purps in the leaves, I wish I could get colder temps and get the purple just for the pretty look. Good job with the Lamas, oh yeah the buds :)

    Plastic vs Glass

vs. I was wondering everyone's take on using plastic containers vs using glass containers for curing. I have seen a lot of people who use both say there's no difference, I've seen people swear by Glass as the one and only solution, I personally have used plastic containers (the pic on top is...

    Kanibus' Random Strain Journal

Well as you can see the little ones are going just fine, I have moved them into the cloning tray I bought yesterday , just for now (good for watering as I don’t need separate saucers). Made up some more nutrients for them with a little more strength and added some Liquid Karma. I cut up some of...
