I dont think its "general yellowing". It usually shows up as a big spot just like in the picture and is shows up suddenly. I'm not ruling out a K deficiency because I wouldn't know since I'm a newb. I am using GH MaxiBloom for nutes.

No these spots are about half way down the plant a good 18" away from the light at least. I was noticing that sometimes, a while back I would check the plant right after the light came on and it would have some condensation on some of the leaves that would dry off real fast once the fan was on...

I've got mine watering 4 times a day, about 10min each time it turns on and never had a problem. It even run once in the middle of the night cycle. Seems to be doing well for me, awesome as a matter of fact.
