Baking soda nearly killed an elderly man. He was using it to relieve the stomach pain caused by an ulcer, but went way overboard with the mildly basic home remedy.

In the January issue of Neuropharmacology, which happens to have a marijuana theme, two teams of researchers tried to explain what causes some people to feel relaxed when they smoke weed while others get a paranoid high.

It depends on how much they took. You can always buy a test kit at the pharmacy and check yourself. Smoking gets a lot more THC into your blood than swallowing a pill. Your liver destroys most of the chemical before it gets into circulation.

They used organic chemistry this time instead of genetic engineering. I do agree that genetically modified pot is on the way. Perhaps with fancy new aromas.
Researchers are making hybrid molecules that blend the effects of THC and anandamide. I am amazed that they have not got busted for it.

It is pretty scary that taking only eleven 500mg tabs of niacin can cause so much damage. I thought that vitamins were safer than that.
