    supports for tall plants

I was thinking of doing something like that. It's just that I'm going to need some seriously big stakes because I feel like if I tie them off in the middle the tops might crack off during heavy winds and rain. I wish I had planned this out more and hadn't cleared out so many small trees in the...

    supports for tall plants

Just checked on my girls last night and :holysheep: they are tall. I went at night so I couldn't get a decent picture worth posting. I'm guessing the tallest one is about 10 feet high. I'm 6' 4" and even standing on my toes i cannot reach the top of the plant. Now my question is how the hell...

East Coast/West Coast, Outdoor Satori grow off

haha when i first started growing it was outside and it was all in random spots around my yard back home...so i just thought the name felt right. Not too much of a guerrilla grower these days though. This particular plot is on my own property but getting to it is a pain lugging around stuff...

East Coast/West Coast, Outdoor Satori grow off

OK so I finally transplanted my girls into the ground last night. I wanted to do it on wednesday night but where I live there have been frost warnings recently. Sorry about the low quality pictures. I have a really bad camera and I was using the light from my headlamp which didnt help. I'm...

ston - at first glance I would say that's a male but I could be wrong. definitely need a better pic. I've been using a camcorder to take pics so I know how it is. Anyways, the girls are going in the ground wednesday night if all goes as planned. I put my soil mix in the ground about a month ago...

East Coast/West Coast, Outdoor Satori grow off

ston-loc those are huge! I really wish I ordered my seeds earlier now. I'm curious as to why you guys decided to grow in pots outside instead of in the ground?...for the convenience of moving them?

East Coast/West Coast, Outdoor Satori grow off

Its been awhile since I was last on here but I finally have my satori's started. Theyre just in some happy frog soil with perlite right now and I've just been giving them water. They are massive compared to my other strains under the same lights and growing medium. I hope the majority of...

East Coast/West Coast, Outdoor Satori grow off

i'm glad to hear someone else has a similar soil mix. The nutrients I will be using, I've always used General Hydroponics floramicro, floragro, and florabloom. This is what I've used for years now so I feel pretty familiar with them. As for pot size I'm starting them off in my veg closet in...

    Outdoor soil mix

awesome thanks drfting! I think I can finally start mixing all my amenities together...once I get kelp of course. The ratio of dolomite lime to peat moss is what was really stumping me. Thanks again.

    Outdoor soil mix

Thanks Wet this helps a lot. I'll be sure to pick up some kelp since I didn't realize how important it is. I was planning on making my mix with peat moss and perlite as the main ingredients. Will the acidic levels of the peat moss really mess things up? I heard it has a ph of around 4.

    Outdoor soil mix

I have this small animal repellent that you are suppose to put around your garden. I believe it's called "shake away". I've used it in the past but I've also always used a fence too so who knows if it actually works.

    Outdoor soil mix

thanks for the tip OG. I usually just sprayed for pests but I never thought about adding those directly to the soil. I'm more concerned about the actual nutes available to the plant in the right quantities within the soil. I'm growing quite a mix of girls outside (first time trying some good...
