any little "nub" the sticks out horizontal is a male, and the little tips (i think they look like the end of a pen/pencil Or even a "tulip") that stick straight up are females. they will get fine white hairs also in due time if they dont already.

i think males are only good for iso hash. and not that good unless you have alot.

panda film is black on one side and white on the other. light is unable to pass through it. regular plastic light will go through. unless you have something behind it, like card bord. yea mylar is a reflective material that looks alot shinier then aluminum foil. (works alot better also)
