Haven't updated for awhile so here's a few pics. The hydro Afghan Kush in coco is looking nice and smelling very fruity. Trained it a fair bit so the light gets in. Nice little flowers coming along. My first crack at fimming only ever tipped them before but it appears to work well. Little girl...

Got it so quick update. One day short of 7 weeks with some a few weeks behind. Some going better than others but all healthy. Been shitty overcast weather. The ones that got a head start seem to be way ahead. Not watering much and Red Powerfeed once per week and gave them some Seasol a week ago...

Had a think about it and gonna move it and gather some pollen before I rip it. Will cross it with the Sativa as well as the other Afghan Kush. Might as well.

    Update on my little eden

$50 dollars a seed is excessive but each to there own. I personally like the Afghan Kush. Indica dominant and easy to grow. Good luck.

So Monday was 4 weeks since the first seed got sown. Some seem to be a lot bigger than others but all seem to be finding themselves and starting to take well. The 4 smallest ones are younger by a week and a half with one even younger. Seem to have got the pests under control but will probably...

Do you have any pets? O:

I'm sure Frank would love the company but Phoebe is not as sociable. I like Howard and Wilson as names too. I prefer solid people names rather than the likes of Spot or Fido. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Super hot pepper advice

Good soil with good drainage in a large pot. I use fish emulsion and feed them often early but back off when they flower. Keep them moist but not wet. This works for me but I grow harbeneros and jalepenos as I like flavour rather than ridiculous heat. Have to plant some again soon. Also have a...

    Planting with moon cycles

Didn't quite work for this time. The first seeds went in at the right time but lost a few to pests so the back ups were a bit late. Don't know if I notice too much difference but I'll continue to try it as any advantage is good :) Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    Ants

Thanks for the reply. I seem to have them under control now along with these tiny snails I found munching on them. One thing after another. I think I will get some neem oil though as I'm sure something else will start eating them at some stage. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

    vegetable garden

Nothing is more rewarding than growing and eating your own produce. I grow citrus, mango, avocado, olives, mulberries, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, chillies and tomatoes along with my own herb all on 1/4 acre block. Been gardening since I was about 8 years old and will be doing it until I die...

Ones that are planted in the ground are mostly a strain of Sativa from Daintree I got off a friend with a couple of Big Bomb and Afghan Kush thrown in to replace the ones lost to Ants. Soil is an old chicken coup with blood and bone, Potash, gypsum and compost mixed through. The white on top is...
