    Crash Journal

Definitely do it! I agree with OF that you could have a nice "shining star" above it for lighting. I wonder if a T5 would be enough?

The flour is to both extend the amount of pollen and to keep it dehydrated, I think. I took some regular baking flour and spread it on some parchment paper and cooked it in the oven @ 200F for 35 minutes. I'm assuming this is to drive off any moisture, or maybe it's to get rid of anything...

    Crash Journal

Hi Crash, the one time that I reversed a female to gather pollen, as soon as the sacs started to open I cut off the stems that had pollen sacs and placed them upside down in a brown paper bag, then folded the top closed. I left them there to dry, then crushed them against my trim bin screen to...

    The Original Old Farts Club

Hi everybody, I wanted to share something awesome with all of you! I only grow veggies and herbs outside (herbs being basil, mint, rosemary, dill, etc.), but this summer I had a visitor in my Blue Skullcap (first pic). She outgrew (!) this little plant (she was long enough to hang off my open...

    SubGirl’s Garden

Me too! I had to cull my SFG in the 3rd week of flower, because it started growing pollen sacs o_O It looked so good that I considered trying to remove them to save the grow, but each day I found more, so <chop chop>! I don't know why it happened, because her tentmate was and is just fine (SFG...

    Newbie and Learning a Lot

Welcome aeode! I am also a new-ish grower, but from what I understand, some strains/cultivars have more variation between the phenotype of each plant than others. That may be why some of your plants appear mostly green, while others seem to have a lot of purple in them. I have only grown...

    Hi everybody

I don't consider myself old, no matter what the calendar says ;) and I've just got the normal wear 'n tear that makes you wonder why the odometer seems to be increasing more and more rapidly. However, I'm growing for both myself and for someone who has ticked all the pain boxes and then some...
