Okay.. Update.. Picked up this yesterday along with some reflective tape. Next is to go check out what kind of lights I can get at the hydro store so I can make a box accordingly... Ventilation is prewired to make sure it runs, I will be getting a small carbon scrubber in the near future...

Wowww!! Tonight a friend told me to come by his place because he has a bunch of grow equipment he doesn't want because he doesn't use it anymore... And that I can take it for free... FULL SETUPS!! 250watt hps - 1kw! This is huuuuge luck!! I'm gonna stop by in the next couple days.

Just seems to me like flo tubes would be more ideal because they can be put inches away from plants without harm.. But I'm not here to give my opinion, I'm here to learn. =] Maybe I will do a cfl grow also to compare..

I have never heard of that here, honestly we have bigger problems than people growing pot.. I have, however heard of visual aerial searches.. I was told that a helicopter spotted a grow in the backyard of someones house, and sent car patrol.. The police were greeted with medical marijuana...

I guess my next question is.. How much do the ampere's matter? Most all computer fans are rated at 12 volts.. The fan that's in there right now has 0.14 amps, a spare one that I'm looking at next to me is rated at 0.32 amps.. When should I be worried?

Now I'm getting curious.. What is more worth it? CFL or floro?

The way the fan controller gets power is through a molex connection, otherwise I would use a plug.. Now, if theres any way I can get a plug with a molex, I would take that into consideration.. I'm just trying to be creative with my setup :)

I love small grows, I can't wait to see pictures of this in flowering!

How much did that cost? Do you have good luck with cfl's?
