Im trying to get a good first grow so i can clone. I had 5 seeds germinate and veg fine but when they went to flower 5 out of 5 were males. i couldn't believe it. and was out of 10 that i had bought. I hope it was just beacause of the low nutes.

Does anyone know if a low nute level in the flowering stage will affect the sex? like making them all males?

How far along in your grow are you if your just begining to flower that could be one of the first signs of sex.

Actually that schedule has worked well now that i flushed the plant and scaled down the nutes. My next question is when do i swich to flowering light sched? and when do i add more nutes?

My plant is now 4 weeks old. Have it currently at a 24/0 lighting sched. and watering 4 hours on and 4 off. Nutes are at 1/4 strength. How much longer should i veg before flower? Also when do i up the nutes?

I heard from 2 different sources that chlorine in the tap water will fry your plant. Buy distilled water from the store for like 99 cents per gallon. Distilled usually comes ph 5.5.

Ok i miscalculated the plant is 2 days from being 4 weeks old. This seed was germinated as of the 7th. Water temp is about 75 degrees. Just canged out the water and flushed the plant with fresh water. How long till i should add nutrients?

Also I have 2 cfls one blue one red. 85 watts a piece. 4200 lumens a piece. both on 24/0. I had put those lights 2 close to the plant after about 3 weeks in. It stopped growing and leaves turned brown. Moved the lights to about 4-5 inches away and about 1 1/2 weeks later started to grow again...
