Hey guys. I run just a single air stone per one gallon bucket (small grow). You guys are stressing that a lot of air is needed. My air pump is currently a 15-20 gallon rated fish tank air pump. How much of a difference would adding more air stones/pumps make?

Jeez. Seems like an awful waste of resin since i dont really have time to make hash. The last strain i had was almost pure indica and so it didnt really have any smaller leaves at all. Only the large sucker leaves, which obviously go. Thanks for the reply.

If youre using the plans that you linked to, you need to make the aquarium light proof. Cover it with something so the light doesnt get in. If it does, youll start growing alge on the roots.

Cigarettes and anything else you smoke releases carbon monoxide(CO) not carbon dioxide(CO2). Therefore smoking near your plants will do nothing for them.

Does anyone know now of a way to stop algea from growing in my buckets without killing the plant?

I find that sometimes this can kill your plant... unless you keep the humidity high. So keep some plastic or a dome over your seedlings until that casing is off, because if it dries and hardens, it might not come off by itself.

Go to the fabric store and get some "blackout cloth". Ask someone that works there if you cant find it. Its about $6 per yard. It is designed to go behind curtains and blocks out sunlight.

Superthrive is not nutes. It is just hormones and vitamins, etc. You still need nutes.

It is just a simple bucket and bubbler. Using GH Flora series nutes. The plants are doing ok right now, but I didnt know if theyd do better with slightly warmer temps. Im at about 60-65F now.

Is it necessary to put a heater in the hydro solution? What temp should the solution be?
