Some older and more experienced ppl will elaborate. Growers find a plant phenotype they like, cross it among other known strains which are going to exhibit other characteristics they like. There are some strains that have been backcrossed more and stabalized.

I would say the top 3 for a beginner... Northern Lights, Big Bud, White Widow in no particular order. They are all very stable and quite tolerant of stress.

I take no chances. After each grow I clean everything and basically start from scratch again but keep the hardware the same. Seems unscrupulous to double or even triple prices like thy say thy willdo soon only for a spring demand. And I thought green crack was clone only. Kinda not cool to steal the name. Waiting anxiously to see what they say about this, if anything.

Just ran my 1st bagseed among 8 other girls. She is #2 in quality and yield behind a Durban Poison that oozes happiness... Dunno if I would run bagseeds again unless it was killer smoke and there was a stray seed in the bag. But I'm batting a thousand right now on em.

I just harvested a bagseed and WW with trichs at approx. 30% Amber and all the hairs except for the top of the main cola where barely turning brown, mostly white. It is knockout. Couldn't be happier with the bagseed, she is a kepper. Man I love when that happens...

I'm smoking some of my bubble hash right now on top of some newly dried Durban Poison. Delicious. Their saying is right on que... If it don't bubble it ain't worth the trouble

Just high and was looking at the garden. Got some bubblebags in recently and was wondering if anybody has ever trimmed their buds but left on fan leaves and made hash before the harvest. Not planning on doing this just wondering if anybody has and the results.
