    Water curing

Well... I was just reading through the forums and stuff this morning and happened to come into this one. I noticed there weren't any threads on water curing so I decided to make this thread just to pass on the information for those who might be interested. For those of you who don't want to...

400 Watts Of Cfl Vs 400 Watts Mh

If you go with the 400w MH you might want to consider going with a 400w HPS ballast and using a ceramic metal halide bulb (CMH). They put out a much better balanced light spectrum and are excellent for vegging. They can be used to flower with really nice results in bud quality, but they just...

    new CO2 idea wih beer...

The fish company nutrafin makes a co2 delivery system for the water plants people put in their fish tanks. All it is is a capsule that holds the mixture that gives off the co2 and a hose. I picked one up for $15. The mixture lasts for about 3-4 weeks before it needs to be replenished. It might...

Northern Farmer's HP Stadium grow setup

Of course they do. All it takes is your regulator and tank to deliver the proper amounts of co2 to the room. You just have to set your exhaust fans on timers so they turn off when the co2 is being released. That way the plants can bask int he co2 for a bit before the fans turn back on to...

    Best way to get Co2?

Proper ventilation will do the trick for growing great weed. But if you want to increase those yields you have to drop a little cash on the tank/reg set up to deliver the proper amounts of co2 to your environment. And they don't all cost $400. I've found some nice regulators on ebay for $60-80...

Northern Farmer's HP Stadium grow setup

Let me say first off that these ARE NOT MY PICTURES. They belong to a guy named Northern Farmer over at mjp. I didn't want to post links and stuff to the other place because I think that's against the rules? Anyway... This is how you can maximize your yields in the space you have to...

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

thanks everyone for the kind words. Alright... So I finally got off my *** and started working on this thing again. The new 53cfm cooltube fans are in place. I'm hoping the added power will only further help to bring down temperatures. Right now I'm in the process of installing my 2...

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

Eh, I've actually been getting way lazy with this project. It's been sitting in my closet for awhile. I took it out yesterday to start work again so hopefully now that it's right there in the middle of my room I'll get motivated to finish it. I'll get it done though! Everyone's grow pictures...

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

I got the baking tubes off ebay. Just search pyrex baking tube and they come up. They're 14" long x about 3 1/2" diameter.

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

I actually bought 2 new 80mm fans for my cool tube exhausts. These new ones will draw 53cfm each as opposed to the current 35cfm fans I have. I'm also going to be installing 80mm active intakes in the front of the case to help bring in cooler air faster. I don't think my passive intake is...

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

Well... Ran into major heat problems. The 250w is way too hot. I'm trying not to downsize the bulbs to 70w CMH right now. I want to try my best to make the 250w work because... 106w/p/sf is awesome. I'll be looking for stronger 80mm fans to exhaust the cool tubes. Each fan I have now is only...

250w double-wide computer case DWC scrog

Thanks for the all the nice remarks guys! I actually think I'll be using the screen with the smaller 1" squares. I think I'll be able to control the canopy better that way and I should still get a decent yield. Especially with the co2 maker.

    UV lights

The CMH bulb will run cooler than the HPS. Some users have reported up to 10 degree drops in temperature in their grow rooms/cabs. If you are using 0-150w you will need a Metal Halide ballast. If you are using 250-400w you will use a High Pressure Sodium ballast. With the switchable ballast you...
