Be Careful Who You Purchase Seeds From!

It's been a few weeks now and I said I'd come back to update... well here I am. The bottom line is the AK-48 seeds are garbage. Out of an original 10 seeds, only 5 germinated. Out of those five I got two males and 2 hermaphrodites, leaving me one very questionable looking plant. The phenotypes...

    Very Simple Cloning Method

I think the entire process is a personal thing.... being that it becomes a part of you. Each of us is going to do things a little differently to arrive at the same destination.

    Very Simple Cloning Method

Very nice photo tutorial there, X... A fine job! You, just like myself am a firm believer in simplicity... or the K.I.S.S. method. (Keep It Simple & Stupid.) I've got a clone machine sitting out in my shed because I reverted back to what has always worked for me... which is almost identical to...

    Greetings and Salutations to All

It's about time!!! I live in the desert now... believe it or not, there's a lot more freedom in this part of the country, although some people would like to convince you otherwise.

    What Works Well For Me...

I've never been gone long enough to have the plants completely dry out. Even here in the desert, I usually go about a week between watering/feeding. Any more than that and I start getting signs of over-watering. I use regular old 5 gallon buckets.

    What Works Well For Me...

That was how I lost a whole room full of Blueberry. Went out of town for 6 days on business and when I returned all those beautiful buds were dead dead dead. Equipment failure is always a possibility.... and that's what I like best about soil. I can go out of town and I don't have to give it a...

    What Works Well For Me...

The weather here is beautiful right now. My favorite time of year... cause in another couple of weeks, it's going to be 100 plus degrees til October! What set this place apart from the other forum? This is actually the first one I found a couple of years ago and have lurked around every now...

    What Works Well For Me...

Whatever works best for you, my friend. That is what this is all about. You see, sometimes my job takes me out of town for as long as a week... and I could never leave a hydroponic or aeroponic system unattended for that long. But I can with the soil. And frankly, losing an entire crop of...

    Greetings and Salutations to All

I had a friend who brought me into his "room". We used Peter's Professional Potting Soil.... and a book I ordered out of High Times called "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture" by Jorge Cervantes. I actually still have it, and still refer to it. I remember harvesting in winter... in Chicago. There...

    What Works Well For Me...

Over the years, I have experimented with a variety of different methods for growing. Soil. Hydroponics. Aeroponics. Indoor. Outdoor. You name it. I have a whole ton of equipment and supplies in my shed because I moved on to another type of system and/or nutrient menu. While I have had a lot of...

    Greetings and Salutations to All

McMurphy's the name...R.P. McMurphy, hailing from beautiful Toostoned Arizona....where even the hippies are packin' heat. I've been lurking around this place for quite some time but just recently felt compelled to actually sign up and contribute. Maybe because I now have a medical marijuana...

Be Careful Who You Purchase Seeds From!

They all shipped together from The Single Seed Centre, but inside each packet of seeds was a small peice of paper with the logo of where they supposedly originated. The AK-48 (10 seeds) had a "Nirvana" logo, (these were the seeds with a 60% failure rate) The White Widow (2 seeds) were from a...

Be Careful Who You Purchase Seeds From!

I wanted to provide a quick update. The few remaining seeds that have germinated as of 2 weeks ago today, are all showing the same exact genetic traits - long, thin leaves! Even though the seeds I purchased were primarily of the Indica variety. Now I know all about phenotypes, but this is five...
