Indoors, 2000 lumens per sq. ft. is about as low as you want to go indoors. If you get under this mark, plant growth will certainly not go as fast as possible, This is what i got from mj light forum , think 3000 lumens isn't the minimal, Also...

Ok so i got 12 seedling aligned in peat cups, I have a 18" 15 watt flour.. plant light (510 Lumens)also have 1 energy 26 watt energy smart Daylight Naural cool light (1600 Lumens). i got my plant light 1 inch from plant and my 26 watt 1 f't away . Will they be ok ?? I wonder:rolleyes:

:holysheep:Yea looks like a serious fire hazard, i would move the cloth off the top. Its bad enough ur using carboard . And for impovements id add a ventilation if u dont already got . Also you should go n buy some reflectors , And if ur on a tight budget i'd suggest aluminum foil, make sure 2...

KK i just went in did that. I just picked up a Energy smart 26watt Daylight flourscent (cool natural light) AN it has 1600 lumens ne suggestions on how far 2 put this 1 ? So far i got 1 ft away
