what i usually do is after they've rooted in the smaller cubes i'll transfer them into the bigger cubes soaked in water till i see them root through the bottom of the bigger ones. this way i know the roots are nice and strong and looking for some food then i'll start adding the nutes about 1/8...

dude just get a timer.. its not worth the risk of messin up your crop. waiting all this time for hermies or crap bud, deffinatly not worth it.

I also build one over 3 months ago and never had any problems with the clones. you just have to keep an eye on the water level. out of the 3 months i think i've only lost 3-5 clones, from the water level being too low. i suppose a dome wouldnt hurt but i dont know if it will make a big difference.

omniconsum3r: I would deffinatly invest in a thermometer where you could check the humidity also. I know usually, when my plants sag its from heat stress

hey thanks mutt.. yea also when you clone its a lot easier to clone if you remove all the fan leave and leave a cluster on top.. omniconsum3r - i cant help it.. thats why im called poser. =)
