huh dude thats really interesting cuz i saw on george cervantes ultamate grow dvd he said you can use green and i just picked up gardening indoors by george van patten and it said the same thing infact i quoted it in my last responce. I would think cerventes would know that????:confused:

yes you can use green light bulbs in your grow area b/c short day pants do not respond to the green of the spectrum.

I found a great spot to start growing in my attic but the only prob is that its realllly hot in there cuz its not insulated. So what would be some things that i would need to do in order to establish a good environment in there for the plants besides insulating it?

Tell me what you guys think about this or if it would be cheaper building it and buying all the stuff to go with it like the light, rockwool, ect basicly everthing thats included. Also check out the vid its really neat...

I was thinking about using either a 430watt hps or 600 with like 3 or 4 flowering plants in a ebb and flow system. So I'm not going to need the mover cuz either of those two bulbs should be good enough right?

Are light movers worth buying or is there an equal or better method?

i agree too all ive heard about hydro is the plant growing fast so you can harvest it faster thats about it. I think good ole mother nature will produce the best buds.

What continuous ph, ppm, and ec meter have you guys used and reccomend? Also is a continous meter prone to more problems ie. purchasing new probs more often then a combo portable meter?

Has anyone ever flowered in a aeroponic system under fluor lights? My friends grandmother just got an aerogarden but it uses a compact fluorescent light. I think I read before that you can flower under them but you dont get as big of buds. So I'm thinking maybe we can somehow rig up a hps in...
