Ok, it's back up to normal. But that doesn't mean the spammers are away! I hope they stay away because I closed down registration for new members. So that should calm it down a bit. Can try to open up for new registrations in a few days and see what happens.

I activated the advert plugin, it's been a long time that i did that. So, it's an old message. We use to run only ads for visitors not for registered members. Maybe we can do a paid option for people that don't like to see the ads. Sorry guys but I need to cover the hosting costs.

We get between 4 and 5000 visitors a day and around 10.000 page views. We use to have more then that, up to 30.000 page views a day. It's not the members that walked away, it's Google sending less traffic. And Google sends most traffic, at this moment, to the Archive page actually. around 3000...

The sponsor doesn't hardly bring in any revenue. So, it's actually a waste of space. The revenue thing is another issue we are having now and discussing it with the mods. We will let the members know soon what we are planning to do in the future in terms of advertising and revenue for the forum.
