so i got this free with the bulb today for helping a friend move. 150w hps bulb. this is not the exact pic but its the exact item. how safe is it using hps in was of fire or such, and whats the best way to cool it or the plants down? will a simple desk fan work?

well the 4 cfls are connect by two clip on lamps and that i can just stash easily, it cost me 15 bucks to make the set up. when i say budget that's what i mean. im thinking into getting a hps set up but not till later.

heat is what quickly drys anything and a fan will hardly make a dent on drying time. you might be able to get a portable heater and stick it behind the fan so it will draw the warm air (it wont be to hot and its not direct heat). that will help just make sure its not moist air.

thats what i had for the veg as well.
