the box is just built in my flowering room wich is 7L/5W/10H. it is just for veging. i was kinda thinking of buying a 12 bulb balist for t5's and runing 4 in the box and 8 in the room. in the room ther will be a dubble 400MH.

Also if i had a fixture i was going to make a hood that is rectangle or square made out of sheet metal would you suggest to run the bulb horizontal or vertical for maximum use of light for six plants?

I found these lights on the internet they are 250W MH and only $25 each. Can I seperate the baliest and fixture so that i can hang the light below the tops of my plants and run it wide open. I want to hang like four of them and my 400W MH over the top. i am only flowering six plants . Not sure...
