4U2, I just got my cover up before the rains came yesterday. I only covered the top and left the sides open. Will this be OK? I really didn't want to much showing as my grow is in front of the house and can be seen from the road.

Ozzie, Thanks for the reply. I haven't trimmed them in past years but there are more than in previous years, but we have had a great outdoor growing season this year.:D

This looks like my best year growing. I have many flowering buds that are 6 or 7 inches long with lots of fan leaves. Should I trim the fan leaves while the buds are still growing or wait till harvest? I'm thinking that if I trim them now my buds will get bigger. Any suggestions?

I planted 3 plants in among my wife's tomatoes now she can't see the tomatoes Bushy and 9 feet tall. .

Our WA. weather has been good but you got your Guano together. I think you need to have a road show and help us do as good as you do. My stuff never grows that good.

Thanks for all the replies. #1. found aphids enjoying the leaves, bastards. #2 the slugs really don't like Corona, me neither. #3 Dolomite lime today. Any safe way to get rid of the aphids?

I checked the PH and it's 6.3. No bugs on the plants but I had a slug problem when I put them in the dirt. The slugs munched the lower leaves and I see an occasional slug slime on some of the leaves. I sprinkled some slug killer on the dirt but I don't like using it.
