cool . . . I will keep that in mind for future grows. I know e&f is fairly easy and simple to set up, but you do waste a lot of water. I'e heard god thing about aeroponics - but that was one guy with a small system. Keep it green man!

I am using drip, but DWC seems to be more of a "true hydro" solution. But I have zero complaints about my drip system and it doesn't waste a sh*t load of water like other hydro systems. my 2 cents.

I guess it depends on your medium too. I have Canna Coco buckets, so it stays "moist" much longer than if you have Hydroton.

Hi Jmann . . . welcome. Again, I am no expert, but from everything I have read here and elsewhere - you want to feed the plants early so they don't get moldy. I've read many times that feeding them at night is not a good thing and leads to more problems. I have drip system too, but I turn it...

Dude, I m in SoCal and our heat wave is starting to drive me nuts. I too am averaging around 80 - 85 during the peak of the day, but my Fire Purple seems to be doing fine. I think if I can get the temps in the sweet spot they will respond even greater. I believe some cool weather is right...

Paranoia can be a good thing, classic. But with you 400hps, I think you will be just fine. It could be a lot of things emitting that kind of heat and that is way to small for them to even bother with. The gas in the chopper costs more than shutting down your grow spot. I wouldn't sweat it.
