The 65 Watt I am purchasing is a little under 3000 lumens, (2700k) I was going to go with a 150 watt hps, but money is really tight right now and I read on here the I would be able to use a 65 watt floro's for flower. That is why I am only dueing one plant.

How much are those 65 watters at lowes and does homodepot carry them. I need to go on the lower cost of my grow. and I found Lights of America Fluorex Floodlight. My guestion I guess is how many lumens does a 65 watt produce?

Thanks, this is still in the design stage right now. I will be running one 150 watt HPS, so I still need to know if this box will be able to hold 4 plants????

The dang pic won't download for me. The box is 70" X 43" X 32" with 10" upper intake and a lower exhaust fan, on each of the sides.

Would this be a good sized grow box for flowering 4 plants? And would a 70 watt HPS cover 4 plants or will I have to get a 150 watt? Here is a scan of the box I'm going to build:

Thank you sweeney, my ph is about 6.4 right now and my light is about 10" from the top of her. Since I have 4 plants total, all growing at different heights I figured that 10" from the top of "stupid" is fine and within a good range. I have three 120 mm fans mounted on the exterior of the box...
