I use 2 4 x 4 flood trays and over each one is a 1000w hps, and my plants are happy campers. I make sure not to let them get closer then 18 inches or it gets to hot on top.

Fingers, I like to work from bottom to tip. If to gooey or fresh, then scissors. I mostly only do bong hits so these work best for me )
