I've always done 24 hr dark periods in the past to start the flower. I dont believe its necessary but it's what I've done before. I did 36 this time to sync light/dark up with my work schedule

Haha ya tired last night when I posted...ty for catching that. MH 1000w for veg and HPS 1000w for flower. Just switched the bulbs during the dark cycle. It's a switchable system I've had in the garage for years. I'll probably invest in a LED at some point but already had this =)
