I had the same thing happen but I used straight water with ph at 6.5 - from what I’ve read it was most likely due to the rich super soil I was using in the solo cups - all four grew thru it though i transplanted 2 of em to garden soil (didn’t have enough of the homemade soil)

Started these in Solo cups on thanksgiving day they are all abut 12-14 in tall and have been topped/ FIMed - the 2 on the right are in a mix of compost from tomatoe garden with perlite and the 2 on the left are in some soil I made - I’m using a Kuarz4000 lamp that is drawing 4.5 A so I figure...
