Y'all mix biochar in with your soil? I grow pot in pots...Ocean Forest soil, and last year on the advice of a hemp farmer I know I mixed in some biochar. He swears by it. Of course without a control I couldn't tell whether it made a difference to me. Anybody here add it to their soil?

Anybody have experience with this stuff? I haven't been able to find out what's in it, other than a blurb somewhere that says it may leave a slight calcium chloride residue. I've used CCl with good results against white powdery mildew but if this is an improvement, I'd give it a try.

I've only seen this discoloring in one spot. The plant looks generally kinda ratty, but I'm writing that off to it's stage in life. I'm looking kinda ratty myself. The bronze leaves don't pull out easily, so hopefully not the dreaded butt rot...I used a stainless steel toothpick to poke around...
