2 weeks into flower. Moved my exhaust filter because I needed to raise lights. Minimal LST. Same water regimen. No flush because they seem healthy.

After trimming...needed to take out a fair amount. This is from top and side AFTER. I could have took more but don’t want to shock it too much. Water regiment is same, drinking aprox 3/4 gal per day per plant.

The difference between dwc and soil w/exact same breed seeds is night and day (see my 1st journal). I’ve seen others struggling w/dwc but I think I knocked it out of the park 1st try. A little more daily maintenance but overall better IMO. The yield will be 2x if not 3x and the timetable is 4 weeks faster! Thanks to all in this forum for advice and encouragement, you have been vital! ❤️🙏

Nice job my friend.
I use to grow DWC but its just to freaking hot in Texas without a cooler,,so i do soil now.

Hey Guys.. Hope weather is better in the south... I got two questions. Is that homemade system or is it just cheaper to get 4 bucket kit? If concrete floor stays 60 65 year round, that would be good for this system right?

Homemade using 5 gallon buckets, net pots, hydroton pebbles, rock wool cubes, aquarium air pump (2 nozzle), 2 inch bubble stones. I keep the water at temp by wrapping buckets with towels, placing them in trays of ice water. Since I can only attend to them every 12 hours, I use frozen half gallon jugs as ice. The standing water will naturally keep towels moist and if you keep fan blowing on the towel it creates perfect temp! I have 3 desk fans for circulation as well as inline scrubber w/carbon filter that replaces air something like 4 times a minute. 1000w spider farm led w/38watt ufo led (for more spectrum). I only have room for two plants as it is small tent.
I WAS replacing water every week, but since I changed to flower, just been adding to each bucket (they drink max 1 gallon per day). My recipe is 3.5ml ph down (it’s 8.0 out tap) 15ml big bloom, 5ml grow big, 5ml tiger bloom, 10ml calmag, 5ml hydrogaurd in 3.5 gallons. Small amount of lst and trimming but for most part it’s pretty low maintenance. Hope this helps!

No amber yet, any day now...⏲

Thank you to all who voted my bud the March Bud of the Month. Very proud I am! Unfortunately I have lost some of my fattest buds to mold on inside. Not sure how much of my crop I will lose to this. So far only very large nugs (3.5grams plus) have this issue.
