advice on "bug bombs"

Ive encountered a spiter mite problem..I have finished A CYCLE and since bombed the room with something from the hydro-store--but the new plants in the room are showing mites. I have a spray called SMC but thats not doing much.,
My new plants are all males so they are getting tossed anyway....ANY SUGGESTIONS ON SOME HEAVY DUTY TREATMENT FOR AN EMPTY ROOM?? any advice on preventing???.other than a clean room...mine is spotless.

I'd "bomb" it twice, a few days apart, then a thourough wash down with a dilluted bleach solution. I used a spray bottle to penetrate cracks, under baseboards, fixtures, ect. If possible, repaint.
If they aren't coming from previous infestations, they're being introduced through ventilation, clothes, pets, ect.
