After finally sprouting roots, I planted this clone on 4/1. I have a 2x2x4 tent, Fox Farm soil, Growth Science nutrients 400w LED's, 14" from lights. My concern is this bushy little monster in is growing wide (8-9 inches) and terribly bushy but only 5" tall. Any tricks for getting some verticle growth or should I just ignore and let it do what it's going to do?

Yup, leave it alone, maybe move your light up a bit but it's a pretty lil girl and she should be fine in the space you have.

Thanks, I was thinking as much, just didn't want to a window of something was stunting its upward growth,

I had to do something as it was getting thicker and thicker with branches and shoots growing everywhere. I tied down all the branches except one which I will eventually trim. I'm at 6 weeks into veg and just waiting on a little more height before going into flower. Hoping for a few more successful monster cropped clones to expirement with.

Some Indicas will grow short and bushy. You may need to remove many of the leaves before putting her into flower.

I thought the whole point of growing that way was to have a even canopy . Why would you let one branch get taller ? I don't get it.
