been playing guitar since I was in high school some 50 years ago...played in one band for about half of those years till everyone either got too busy with family or moved away...played in several bands since then...Now days we just get together for a jam about every Wednesday night or so...sometimes more of us, sometimes less...but we got a drummer a couple guitar players a bass player and a couple keys and singers...about 10 of us in all and we sort of rotate thru depending on who is home or available...
Sometimes if there are only a couple of us we just do an acoustic strum’n sing sorta thing...
I also like to tinker with electronics and building instruments...below is a picture of two of my latest home built creations...both the guitar and the amp are home made...
It would great to hear from some of you songsters out here, I know there are a couple of you...

I always wanted to learn guitar. I could never sit there and practice like you need to and my rhythm comes and goes as it pleases. I played snare in the 5th grade band. I sang in the school quires as tenor-baritone ( i think that's right) up until I started partying. I sing in the car these days!

As a kid I dreamed about being in a band. I played piano at our house and organ at my Grandparents. My Grandmother had a very expensive organ. It was my favorite instrument. I played trumpet in the school band. I di not care for it. I once was given an acoustic guitar when I was a kid. It was used by a hippie in San Francisco band. It was a very unusual guitar. Someone had taken it apart. They sprayed it with those popular day glo colors from the sixties. bright pink, bright green ect. It looks like they covered this guitar with glitter while the paint was wet. My friends were amazed by how this guitar looked. I wish I still had that guitar. I was never a good guitar player, but I had fun with it. I still own a guitar, but my fingers don't work like they used to. I don't play with it anymore.

I play a little piano and I love to sing. No one begs me not to so i guess it is ok. This is weird, last week i was in an art gallery with my gf, and we were in a big room with no one in there but one man and us. He started singing, the acoustics were awesome, I sang with him. we just stood in front and sang. That was weird. Never said a word to each other. Don't remember the song.

I used to be pretty good on the guitar, well as far as rock’n roll & blues goes...I like some progressive jazz styles and even some old school swing’n jazz... but I don’t know how to play that stuff....I do some rockin country blues and what may now be known as Americana with an edge...trouble is as I get older...I find I can still play pretty well but I have trouble remembering stuff...scary stuff cuz I watched my dad go down that same path...well, we do the best we can I guess...

And I like John Gorka too...he’s such a great song writer...One of my friends who has sadly passed on made a guitar for John a few years back...I wish I had the gift of verse that he has...

Hey ya’ll...I’m up late and ain’t nobody else round to talk to,..you may be asleep already, pretty sure since I’m on the west coast and not a lot gonna follow me till QBCRock’nroll gets up...I’m just cruzin youtube and havin a great time...I’ve been all over...bout to head off to bed though so I’ll leave this for ya cuz I like all kinds...Well, you knew I was high...

i try to play instruments. i was in a band playing keyboard back in my mid 20's(the late 80's). i still have my roland d50 and try to play it once in a while. i have 3 guitars(a baby martin, an epiphone les paul special and a really nice taylor 12 string) and play the electric every day but i am not good. my rhythm is pretty bad unfortunately. not sure if it counts that i know my rhythm off. i have about 10 or so songs(mostly chord progressions for a verse and chorus) of my own(a couple with lyrics) that when i play them, my wife and/or sons will ask who that band is. i would so love to be like elise trouw(a looping and multi-instrumentalist extrordinaire)...

I have played guitar, bass and slide for 50 years as well. I co run a blues jam and play at another each week. I am also a guitarist in a blues band. I have a friend that used to host what we called the "Secret Society". We would go to his house, shoot b.b. guns in the back yard, have an acoustic jam on his deck, have a pot luck dinner and then have an electric jam in his garage. Oh yea, we would watch Jeopardy during dinner. Nothing funnier than a bunch of stoned musicians trying to answer those questions.

I play guitar, bass, and drums. Been learning keyboard for the last year or so. I have 5 Electric Guitars, 3 Acoustic, a 4 string Bass and a 5 string Bass. Wife says no more guitars. :)

I am also into music production. Have a Home Studio and probably 75 tracks that I have done. Mostly Rock, some Pop.

Cool, I’d love to hear some...do you have a soundcloud page by chance?

I understand...I was gonna try and change my SC profile to hide my id but it seems like such a pain...I’m in a legal state so wth...
Here are a couple I’ve done in my home studio...back when I had a barn and a loft and fun toys like that...now days I’m stuck in a small bedroom with very limited space...I think I pretty much did everything on these tracks...
First is an original, second is a Beatles cover
