aspen air negitive ion generator benifits?

i just recieved negitive ion generator, to help battle the odors , i got a aspenair a-10-2 ionizer by hydofarm. i was wondering if any one has used one it has no directions, which i found online, but are not that informitive,

also i think i read that negitive ion generators can be good for plants, so should i put it into my grow cabinet or just leave it in the room? please help

The negative ions gobble up odors. I only use mine when flowering out odiforous skunky plants. You just plug it in and let it run. They need to be cleaned occasionally, open it up and using a mild soap solution, wipe down the bar inside, dry with a soft clean cloth.
