It was a good video. Micheal Hedges invented the "tap" technique. He also used a sympatheic harp guitar. Stanley Jordan does some of the tap tech. John McLaughlin started using a harp guitar back with his solo albumn "My goals beyound" So we're talking about 1982. And of course Pat Metheny uses the tap tech and harp guitar. Nothing new to world of music. Hedges said he developed the tap tech when he was at the Peabody institute, because he was trying to use the interwoven fingers found with piano, but on the guitar. Hedges is no longer with us or this style of playing would be a lot more popular.
 
I did check him out. Some of his pieces are Michael Hedges pieces. The label he's on has a complete Michael Hedges collection.
