Auto flower will not flower

My buddy has a Barney farm auto at week 7 or 9 and showing no signs of flowering. He switched to 12/12 lights thinking it could be a photo and still nothing. Anyone ever see such?

I would be willing to bet its not an Auto and i bet given a little more time at 12/12 it will start to show sex.

I have had Barneys auto do the same they took longer but Yes try what Hopps has said
I have also had and seen others who order autos and get Photos,
I like Barneys but some people not so much.

I have seen heavy sided Sativas take a long time not sure if it was 9 weeks to show flower
My brain read right over that part. It sucks having a tenant living in my head now.

Is it starting to smell like weed yet? That was the first thing I noticed right before flowering started.

Definitely sounds like a photoperiod plant. Plants flower faster if they are sexual mature when flipping the lights to 12/12, but you should see signs of sex within two - three weeks at most.
