from my experience do not use baking soda unless you just have too. Had to use for two weeks, the very ends of the leaves turned light brown, couldn't get to where I could use ph up, so only choice. The plants finally got the right ph up and now the plants are very well, but when the light is on you see all these leaves with blonde tips.. Hope this gives some some insite on how sensitive our ladys are.:watchplant: :)
 
as cheap as ph up and down is,i would never use anything but.a qt. will last a long time.you will get to where you know exactly how many drops it takes to lower.i have rarely used the ph up.
