I did it all online Bubba.
Mater fact my Wife can now draw up to half of what i make on my SS. She has a call on the 26th to do just that. She didnt work outside the home much so her check isnt very much. So if half of what you are makiing is more than what your wife makes on her SS they will add to her check to equal half of your SS check. And no you dont have to be dead for your Wife to draw on your SS.

Did mine online. Easy.

Only thing that got me was the part about, since still working, I don't turn on Medicare, just the social security. So when you turn on Medicare, they will think you need to be penalized, but you have your HR at job file the form demonstrating you have been continuously covered with insurance.....makes me paranoid!

I get both Medicare and SS. The only thing that comes out of my check is the Medicare payment of 173.00

Hopper is spot on. Mrs Pute never worked and she gets half of what I get. I I pay the same on Medicare.
