Buds Ready?

I’m a first time grower and hoping to get some feedback on when my buds are ready for harvest. I’ve taken some closeup photos for reference. I was given the plants so no idea on strain or how long they’ve been in flower. First 3 photos are from one plant and the last 2 photos are from my second plant. Any guidance or advice welcomed as I’m as green as the plant at growing marijuana.

Your buds look good. Most people like to wait until there are a little amber trichomes before harvesting.

Now, I'm a newbie but I'd keep giving nutrients if it were me. The testing they did between flushing at the end of flower vs feeding till the end didn't prove much. In fact, many preferred the taste of the buds that were fed to the end. I'm not convinced that feeding is bad at harvest time. Why starve your plant at a time the buds are fattening up?

I've wondered if you can take your freshly harvested Cola's and stick them into pure water, like a rose in a vase.... Wouldn't that help flush out extra nutes at the end? Just an idea, dont laugh at me..
