One of my kids showed me Picture Insect. I've used it just for fun around the house to get used to it, but when I had a bunch of little critters on one of my plants I used the app to identify them as Leafhoppers. (It actually identified them as some variety that only lives in Canada, but close enough). The app is free, but they will try to upsell you each time you open it up.
