Bugs? I don’t know

Hi all. Not sure what’s going on with my plants. Can’t see any bugs but something is eating my stalks and leaf stems. Some spots look like they are coming from the inside out. I live in Mass and grow outside in soil. Grew last year with no problems. Any Ideas
